We’ve spent a couple of years now working with specialty coffee shop owners, and one of the most universal problems that we’ve noticed our partners face is that of dealing with multiple suppliers.
You guys all know the pain of relying on 6 or 7 different companies–each with their own payment terms, credit checks and ordering methods–to get everything you need for your shop. Keeping track of all of the invoices and minimums is a logistical nightmare, and one for which we have been working hard to find a solution.
THE CUPS SUPPLY STORE
Without further ado, we are beyond excited to announce the CUPS Supply Store, which is coming VERY soon to our partner shops, starting in New York (if you want early access, shoot us an email).
Think of our Supply Store as the Amazon of coffee – we’ve got everything you need in one place, on one invoice, with one account manager. Even better, because we work with over 350 coffee shops nowadays, we were able to negotiate shockingly low rates with a ton of great suppliers.
In short, the CUPS Supply Store means you’ll get more options at better prices, all with less hassle. If you want to set up a meeting to see how you can better utilize the platform, just book a time to meet with our cost-cutting specialist.
PRODUCTS
For the last several months, we’ve been deep behind enemy lines, negotiating with every relevant supplier we could find, from roasters and bakers to sellers of paper goods and office supplies.
Here is a small taste of the products that will be available to you:
Purely Elizabeth
Purely Elizabeth specializes in granola of the highest caliber, and other health foods. Their mission is to make delicious goods with quality natural ingredients, and their award-winning granola speaks for itself.
Raaka Chocolate
Raaka Chocolate is a Brooklyn-based company that sources their cacao beans like your favorite roaster sources their coffee beans. They believe in “virgin chocolate,” meaning they don’t roast their beans, resulting in a unique flavor profile (we don’t recommend trying this with coffee).
Sans Bakery
Sans Bakery is a bakery with a simple goal: to make gluten-free baked goods that are not delicious-free. Their cookies, donuts, bagels and more are a god-send for people with gluten allergies.
Love Grace Foods
Love Grace Foods specialize in gourmet juices, yummy smoothies, and good vibes.
Harney & Sons
Harney & Sons is one of the biggest names in fine teas. Their family business has been around since the late John Harney started making tea in his basement in the 1980s.
Organic Living Superfoods
These guys are all about health, and have dedicated their lives to finding and sourcing the highest-quality superfoods in the world.
Caffe Vita
Having been in business since 1995, Seattle-based Caffe Vita are among the pioneers of the Farm Direct movement. Their coffee is amazing and they’ve done a lot to educate the public about specialty coffee.
